Wakfu Review - Is It Worth Playing?
Wakfu is an isometric Anime inspired MMORPG based off of the Anime of the same name. It’s a unique take on the strategic turn based genre, with its quirky visuals, story, monsters and NPCs. The world within Wakfu is quite vast, giving the player access to multiple worlds, each with their own regions that are all completely explorable even though they’re instanced off. The combat and story are the features that shine within Wakfu as the character creation is somewhat lacking, despite the fact you have access to a plethora of character classes- the actual customization is just.. very limiting. Wakfu uses strategic turn based combat that utilizes positional bonuses that help keep you on your toes, with no two fights being the same. This is also complemented by the fact you’re able to freely customize your statistics and skills, giving you the ability to shape your character the way you want.
