Project MX is a Brand New Upcoming RPG from Yostar and NAT Games
So a couple months ago, Yostar and NAT Games announced a brand new project: Project MX.
I know, the name is a little vague, but sources close to the developers say “MX” stands for “micro-transaction,” and that the game is going to be completely built around milking players for as much money as they possibly can.
Okay, that was a bad joke. Nevertheless, all these new upcoming South Korean games with “Project” in their name need to diversify a little bit. It’s become difficult differentiating between the different games.
If you’re not familiar with either of those companies though, NAT produced OVERHIT and V4 while Yostar produced Arknights and Azur Lane. With games like those under both companies’ belts, you can rest assured knowing that they at least have knowledge and experience in the genre.
So, not much in the way of information pertaining to Project MX has been revealed up until this point, but the trailer reveals quite a bit.
The game is an RPG where players take on the role of a teacher, trying to solve strange incidents that are occurring. While not even the combat type has been revealed, it seems as though players will have access to an array of of firearms, tanks and other seemingly military-themed weapons.
From the trailer, we see that the cast is seemingly all female, and judging from the fact that a lot of you playing are into waifu collectors, I’m sure this is going to be right up your guys’ alley.
Some of my most popular videos on this channel are from games that allow you to collect waifu’s and have the bare minimum selection of males to collect.
While there is no mention of a global release planned, or even the confirmed South Korean launch or pre-registration date, you can bet they’re planning on releasing it outside of the region not too long after launch. That way they can maximize their earnings!
I feel like this is going to be another generic gacha game, but at the same time, this could also end up being another hit. You guys love these kinds of games after all!
So, would you invest in new titles from these companies then? So far my experience in Arknights has actually made me spend on my first gacha, you think they’ll do better?
