NIKKE: The Goddess of Victory Pre-Registration
I bet you guys thought I wasn’t going to cover this. You’re wrong. You should know me better than that by now. This is exactly the type of game I’m interested in, and that I know quite a few of you are interested in as well.
Today, I couldn’t be more excited to talk about NIKKE: The Goddess of Victory today. Why? Because it’s entered its pre-registration phase until the 13th, and is launching Globally in the near future. This game announced its pre-registration back on the 7th – just a couple days ago, and the pre-registration phase for the upcoming NIKKE is currently open, allowing players to pre-register for the upcoming Beta test.
Pertaining to the Beta test and the pre-registration phase, however, there have reportedly already been tens of thousands of applicants – so if you haven’t already, then first and foremost, I urge you to go ahead and do that. You’d be crazy not to. This game is done by the very same guy that did Destiny Child, Blade & Soul and Magna Carta.
His character designs are legendary, as is typically the gameplay found within the games he’s responsible for.
Interestingly enough, in the announcement they refer to NIKKE as a “pretty girl shooting game,” as if having pretty girls is an entire genre. Oh wait, nevermind. It is. It’s what Gacha games are typically comprised of, nevermind.
Accompanying the announcement for the upcoming test phase, Kim Hyung-tae, the CEO of ShiftUp released a hand written letter on Twitter thanking players and the community for the support thus far, and showing his sincere affection.
This game is generally considered by many players to be one of the most hyped, most anticipated releases of 2022. And there’s no denying why that is. It boasts an incredible quality – introducing the latest in lip-motion technology, spine, and physics engines. Which I believe, for those of us with a more cultured background, means only good things.
There are reportedly more than 60 “beautiful and unique characters” for players to foam at the mouth for at the launch of the game, which – and I quote here, is expected to “strongly stimulate users’ desire to collect.”
Yes, “strongly stimulate” players. That’s what we’re all interested in hearing. I do love it when video games get me strongly stimulated.
It was confirmed that NIKKE is in the final stages of development right now, with a full Global release planned this year, including North America, South America, Europe, South Korea and various parts of Asia.
The game looks fun to play and my wallet is ready
