Having had this requested multiple times over the last couple weeks, we finally decided to take a look at Metin2. It’s an older game (you can tell just by looking at it.) That didn’t stop us though, as there are plenty of older MMORPGs out there that’re plenty good, even considering the fact that they’re old!
So starting right off – we noticed it had no jump feature, which is already bothersome – but not really a problem, nor does it hinder us. Then we proceeded to learn that we run at the same speed as a toddler. This made getting around really slow and was ultimately one of the reasons this game was as bad for us as it was. Adding onto that was the fact that our leveling progression was as follows:
Quest NPC: Go kill some wolves
Stix&Wiggy: Kay, cool!
(turns in quest)
Quest NPC: That’s it. Go grind for 10 minutes to finish the level off.
Stix&Wiggy: Uh, kay.
(levels up)
Quest NPC: Congratulations on your level up! To commemorate this momentous occasion – go kill some wolves.
Stix&Wiggy: Hmm. Alright.
(turns in quest)
Quest NPC: That’s it. Go grind for 15 minutes to finish the level off.
Stix&Wiggy: *sigh*
(levels up)
Quest NPC: Congratulations on your level up! To commemorate this momentous occasion – go kill some more wolves.
Stix: Can’t do it.
Wiggy: 🙁
(logs out)
