Is King's Raid Shutting Down?
Yup, this is sounding pretty bad. The developers of King’s Raid recently made a blog post over on the official King’s Raid website titled “Future Maintenance Schedule Change Notice,” where they went on to confirm that maintenance that had been held every 2 weeks up until this point, was being altered to.. well, in their words, be “an irregular maintenance.”
The reason they give for this is that they are working on the second season of King’s Raid, and due to the considerable amount of work they have to do: hero balancing, damage inflation, removal of unnecessary content, enhancement of existing content, client optimization, renewed graphics, new chapters and new content development,
they just don’t have the time nor the resources to dedicate to the game right now. Instead of regular updates, they are going to be pushing out intermittent updates, and updates specifically for things they deem are absolutely necessary.
Again, this sounds bad. They’re essentially putting the game into maintenance mode, until season 2 is ready, even though season 2 was announced, what, a year or two ago? This is proof that not only is season 2 nowhere close to being ready, but Vespa have no idea what they’re doing.
It’s no wonder so many content creators have quit the game. But it also bodes very poorly for its future.
