Final Fantasy XIV Review - Is It Worth Playing?
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is a 3D fantasy MMORPG from Square Enix. A Realm Reborn is a re-launched version of the game years after the original, Final Fantasy XIV, failed and was ultimately scrapped. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is not a sequel to any Final Fantasy title in specific, and like most titles before it, is its own story. You, the player, are a chozen hero set to save the world of Eorzea from the forces of darkness.
Final Fantasy XIV has a very large – perhaps the largest of any MMO to date, focus on storytelling, featuring hours and hours of voice-acted content and hundreds of hours worth of story and side-story related text to read through.
There are 9 classes in total, 15 jobs that the player can advance towards, and 11 gathering professions. The classes consist of Gladiator, Marauder, Arcanist, Archer, Lancer, Pugilist, Rogue, Thaumaturge, Conjurer. The Jobs consist of Paladin, Warrior, Summoner, Scholar, Bard, Dragoon, Monk, Ninja, Black Mage, White Mage, Astrologian, Dark Knight, Machinist, Samurai, Red Mage, and the professions consist of Carpenter, Blacksmith, Armorer, Goldsmith, Leatherworker, Weaver, Alchemist, Culinarian, Botanist, Fisher, Miner.
Take part in one of the largest, most visually stunning, densely populated, cross-platform MMORPG on the market today – and they have Chocobo to boot!
