The game utilizes instanced “zones,” allowing players small, linear, horizontal areas to explore, questing in, fighting monsters and continuing the story, unlocking new areas in the process.
There are dungeons, raids, and various PvP modes to engage in.
Dungeon Fighter Online is one of my favorite hub-MMOs and honestly has some of the most entertaining, engaging combat in a game of its kind. It has more than a single quest-hub which is something I wish more games like this had.
