Defiance and Defiance 2050 Shutting Down on April 29th, 2021.

Over the last 2 days I’ve reported on 2 separate MMO closures. Gamigo reported that they were shutting down both Eden Eternal and Twin Saga, both of which are Anime MMOs. Today on the other hand, we’re here to discuss the closure of both Defiance and Defiance 2050.

Yup, it turns out that Gamigo is closing yet another MMO. Well, 2 MMOs if you consider them separate games.
Defiance and Defiance 2050 are both shutting down on April 29th, 2021. Their closure notice was essentially a copy-pasted message across every MMO they’re shutting down. “Neither Defiance nor Defiance 2050 is making any money so we’re closing them down.” It would’ve honestly been nice to have gotten a customized message from the developers, or publishers concerning the permanent closure of the game but this is Gamigo after all.

I’m aware Defiance wasn’t a very popular title, neither was 2050, but the sheer number of titles that Gamigo is shutting down is going to leave them with nothing left after this. Who’s ready for the announcement that Gamigo is shutting down RIFT next?
