DarkBind, a New Action MMORPG Has Entered Closed Beta Testing
Earlier this month, NetEase announced they had a brand new MMO in development, set to launch in both North America and Japan simultaneously. They noted that there was a Closed Beta scheduled… that actually began at the time of the announcement, catching everyone completely off guard.
If we navigate on over to their official website, it turns out the game is currently in Early Access. NetEase claim that “DarkBind is an Action MMORPG that features a thrilling combat system set in a dark, magical world.” Supposedly, the game has been designed with overseas players in mind with respect to themes, operations, character development and PvP as opposed to focusing on what their region of players prefer.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to think of this, until I saw that it was a mobile-exclusive title. Although it lists it as having absolutely no auto-mechanics in it whatsoever, so it might be worth checking out purely to gauge what they perceive Western players want from an MMO.
I didn’t apply to the Beta test because I have my hands full, but it – from the trailer footage, closely resembled a certain other immensely popular RPG released recently.
