Chimeraland is the MMO.. we Don’t Need.

Sometimes MMOs are revealed and you sit there for a moment and think to yourself.. “wow, this actually looks pretty sick.” Anticipation begins to build up within you, you scour the internet for information pertaining to the MMO in question, absorbing every little morsel of information you can. The game just looks so enticing to you that you can’t stop. Well, this isn’t that game. This is the exact opposite. I have no idea what they were thinking when they brainstormed Chimeraland, but I wish they hadn’t.

Chimeraland is a brand new upcoming MMORPG from Tencent Games being developed completely cross-platform for both PC and Mobile devices.
The website lists the game as a “glopen” title, meaning a globe-shaped open-world MMORPG. What this means is that you can keep moving in a linear path and eventually make it back to where you began, as the world itself is shaped like a globe.
Little is known about the game right now, but they’re planning on entering Closed Beta testing from July 20th through August 4th 2021 within Canada and the Phillipines.

Chimeraland is entering Closed Beta through August 4th, with an expected release date of 2022. It’s uncertain whether or not Tencent are planning on releasing the MMORPG globally, but we’ll definitely make sure to keep you all updated when/if they do!
