Brave Blades is a Laughable Excuse for an MMORPG.
So I just did a video on the new Forsaken World MMORPG, and I thought it was kinda.. Iunno, browser-game-ish? You guys know what I mean, right?
Afterwards, I saw that “Brave Blades” was an MMO that was recommended as being similar – and figured you know what? I might as well go ahead and check this one out as well. It couldn’t be worse than Forsaken World. I was eating my own words minutes after downloading the game.
So, you start the game by choosing your class. Each class is gender locked so there’s no variety if you want to go a specific class. There’s no character creation – rather, you’re just thrown directly into the game.
And then you begin auto-pathing to your very first quest objective, and auto-battling the enemies along the way.
That’s.. pretty much the gist of it. This is an auto-play MMO – but where there are some games, like V4 or Black Desert Mobile that actually LOOK and FEEL higher quality – this does not.
This looks and feels absolutely terrible. It looks like Brave Blades was made in the early 2000s, and not in the charming “older-gen classical” type of way, but more the “quick low-budget” kinda way.
Not only were the character models pretty bad, but the graphics were poor, the combat animations were lacking. I was surprised this game had as many high ratings as it does.
I daresay that the new Forsaken World MMO is better than this in every way, and that game was even pushing it to be classified as a game.
I don’t like auto-play in my games. Especially in my MMOs. However, if you’re going to do it, at least make the game look beautiful enough to warrant me logging in and looking at it.
As far as I can see in this game – it felt like there was little to no effort put into it at all, which is a shame.
There were very limited classes, no customization, the game played itself, there was no real story and – well, this right here is the epitome of a browser game. Low effort, low quality.
I’m honestly surprised games like this are developed and released to the general public – and even more so that players actually play them.
This is about as bad as a Mobile MMO can be, and.. I’m actually kinda disgusted by it. There are no redeeming features whatsoever, and there’s no reason to play this. There are much better Mobile MMOs out there.
