Ares: Rise of Guardians is a Brand New Upcoming MMORPG From Kakao Games

Have you been waiting on a new scifi MMO to replace The Old Republic or Star Trek Online? Because a brand new MMO was just revealed last week. And I’ve seen absolutely nobody covering it. Is it that bad? Maybe nobody even knows it exists?
Well I guess you do now.

Today, I want to talk to you all about a brand new MMORPG: Ares: Rise of Guardians. I know. It really isn’t a very catchy title. Doesn’t sound at all like an MMO – but I guarantee you, it really is. And it’s a PC exclusive.

In light of the announcement, Kakao – yes, the same Kakao that published Black Desert for years, and launched Elyon several months ago, released a teaser website and trailer.

And, well it seems like this the trailer was 30 seconds of cinematic footage, and other than a scifi setting, it revealed absolutely nothing to us. And after navigating on over to their website, neither did that. What we do know, based off of their press release, however, is that this game is launching on PC, and it’s coming in 2022. Yup, we have literally no information, and at the same time.. it’s coming in the next several months. That’s reassuring.
