A3: Still Alive is a Brand New MMORPG Battle Royale Hybrid
A3: Still Alive is a brand new MMORPGBR, and I just spent some time playing around in it.
A3 is your typical mobile MMO: You create your character from a small selection of classes, then you’re instantly thrown into a world filled with auto-play and bad monetization. As much as I’d love to say A3 defies the norm, it doesn’t. It falls victim to the same issues that have plagued the Mobile MMO genre since its inception.
Upon first making it into the game, you’re greeted by auto-questing, auto-pathing to your objective, auto-combat, auto-equipping of gear, auto-management of every facet of the game.
If that, for whatever reason doesn’t turn you off, then you’ll soon learn that the game not only looks fairly dated, but offers nothing in the way of innovation. This is exactly like every single other mobile MMO release in recent memory – with the exception of Black Desert Mobile, but even that game falls victim to many of the poor practices mobile titles employ.
Ultimately, I couldn’t recommend this game with any semblance of sincerity – it just isn’t very good, and I highly doubt there is anything that could change my mind about it.
