Guild Wars 2 Steam Release and End of Dragons Expansion Announcement

ArenaNet made some waves earlier this week with the announcement that Guild Wars 2 is not only coming to Steam, but by also providing the trailer – or, rather a teaser for their third expansion titled “End of Dragons.”

That’s right, in a post made on their forums, Butterfly Kingdom.8349 made a post stating that Guild Wars 2 is coming to Steam in November 2020. Players will be able to log in through Steam and play alongside non Steam players in both North America and Europe, however to play through Steam you’ll be required to create a brand new account as they will not support account conversions between platforms, unlike Phantasy Star Online 2 and Microsoft/Sega’s release onto the platform.

The third expansion is called “End of Dragons,” although not much was really shown, nor is much regarding the expansion really known at present, including its release date.
